Job Title: French-Speaking Aerospace Recruiter Location: Remote Canada Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced French-speaking Aerospace Recruiter to join our team and support talent acquisition efforts across the aerospace and defense industry. This role requires strong recruitment expertise, deep understanding of technical and engineering profiles, and the ability to engage with candidates and clients in both English and French . Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle : sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified aerospace professionals. Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to understand role requirements and deliver top talent within agreed timelines. Develop sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, Boolean searches, networking, and referrals . Recruit for aerospace and defense positions such as: avionics engineers, aerospace systems engineers, flight test engineers, manufacturing engineers, program managers, and related roles. Conduct interviews in both French and English to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and career motivations. Coordinate offer negotiations, onboarding, and candidate experience management. Maintain compliance with Canadian labor laws, immigration/work permit requirements, and company policies. Build and nurture a talent pipeline of aerospace professionals across Canada and French-speaking regions. Represent the company at industry events, virtual career fairs, and aerospace associations when required. Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience (preferably in aerospace, aviation, or defense). Bilingual proficiency (French & English) verbal. Strong understanding of aerospace/engineering job families and technical requirements. Experience using ATS systems, CRM tools, and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, etc.). Familiarity with Canadian hiring practices and ability to manage remote recruiting processes. Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines. Strong networking ability with candidates and clients in both government and commercial aerospace sectors. Preferred Recruitment experience within aerospace OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or defense contractors . Knowledge of security clearance processes (NATO/ITAR/Controlled Goods Program) is an asset. Familiarity with contract and contingent workforce recruitment .
