Working with vendors, adjusters, and other experts, you will demonstrate empathy, strong listening skills, business acumen, and organizational effectiveness as you manage a wide variety of Commercial claims through to completion.What you'll do here:Analyze information gathered, interpret insurance policy wordings, determine coverage, and assess damageDevelop an action plan to ensure all aspects of the claim are addressedManage all financial components of the claim, including setting reserves and ensuring prompt and equitable settlements in line with Intacts policies and standardsEnsure clear and concise information and direction is provided to vendorsWork with experts including appraisers, engineers and others to help drive progress throughout the claimProvide a superior quality of customer service to external and internal customers, and answer queries relating to the claims processKeep up to date on Intacts insurance products, appraisal and investigation techniques, and serviceWhat you bring to the table:3 years in the Insurance Industry or a closely related field.
