Our Victoria office is seeking Senior Accountants for Private Enterprise Sector. As a Senior Accountant you will be required to apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements.What you will doConduct external and internal financial statement audits for private companies including leadership of field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff. You will also develop and maintain relationships with client management.Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagementsConduct external and internal financial statement audits for both public and private companiesLeadership of field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff membersPerform analysis of complex accounting issuesPerform financial and systems analysisDevelop and maintain relationships with clientsAs an Audit professional, you will provide a service that represents a high-value mark for our firm, helping companies assess their risk as they work to ensure transparency across their operations.What you bring to the roleUndergraduate degree in Accounting, or Business related fieldSuccessful completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation2 - 3 years post graduate experience with a public accounting firmAbility to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills and are a strong team playerMeticulous attention to detail, organization and planning skillsKPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $53,500 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicants base salary within this range is based on the individuals location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications.
