Overview Northern Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. LOCUM opportunities are available on-site. NEW GRADS are welcome. Preference will be given to Radiologists who wish to make Dawson Creek their year-round home; however, a blended job plan including partial remote work would be negotiable with a Radiologist or group that can meet our patients needs. Dawson Creek has a new hospital build underway with an anticipated opening in 2027. Compensation and Incentives Estimated Yearly Remuneration: $750,000+ Annual Bonus (Flat Fee): $35,798 Signing Bonus: $20,000 Moving Allowance: $9,000 $15,000 MSP Premium on all billings: 23.10% RCME funding available Potential additional income in the Northeast region includes vacation coverage for Fort St John (two Radiologists). Dawson Creek has a new hospital build underway and we anticipate opening in 2027. Radiology services Interventional Radiology MRI (TBA) CT scanners multi detector/multi slice/Dual energy Breast Imaging Centre with tomosynthesis mammography Ultrasound X-Ray Nuclear Medicine Qualifications Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in radiology (FRCPC) and eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC) Proficient in mammography and basic image-guided procedures Modalities available include Fluoroscopy, ultrasound, mammography, CT, nuclear medicine and MRI We offer flexible vacation scheduling. About Dawson Creek and District Hospital Dawson Creek And District Hospital is a full-service community hospital that serves a catchment area of approximately 26,000. Other local specialists include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, OB/Gyn, Internal Medicine, and Psychiatry. The hospital has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds.
