Position Summary Incredible opportunities are available for Gastroenterologists with a sub-specialty in addition to core training. Physicians with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are encouraged to apply. Our IBD population has heavily expanded with influx to the Okanagan.Kelowna Gastroenterology Associates has a full complement of GI subspecialty services including motility, therapeutics, hepatology, and IBD. We are supported by two colorectal surgeons dedicated to advanced IBD surgery. Our services include two IBD nurses, small bowel ultrasound, a newly established IBD clinic, and IBD clinical trial opportunities with a huge potential. The Kelowna Gastroenterology Associates are a group of 12 Gastroenterologists serving the interior of BC. There is no Internal medicine service or call requirements. As part of the Gastroenterology team you will share an equal share of on-call and endoscopy time. You will be part of a rapidly growing Department of Medicine helping to serve the fastest growing community in the Interior. There are opportunities for involvement in teaching in the UBC Department of Medicine if desired in addition to other creative professional activities.
