Overview Family Physician - Urgent Primary Care Centre - Community - Mission Fraser Health invites you to join an innovative and unique primary health care team located in Mission. In late April 2024, our team launched our urgent and primary care services, with a team complement of 30 FTEs. Responsibilities Participate as a full and active member in the delivery of team-based primary care services, within a model that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, clinical counsellors, allied health professionals and administrative support. Provide timely access to patients, families and caregivers to comprehensive, person-centred, culturally safe and quality care. Contribute to extending intentional and coordinated care to all community members, including the medically complex and vulnerable. Flexible scheduling for 4- and 8-hour longitudinal or urgent care shifts. Community Situated on a coastal mountain slope overlooking the Fraser River valley, Mission is a rapidly growing rural centre. Its mountains, meadows and natural forests blend with a hometown feel. Mission is the site of Canadas first train robbery and British Columbias first rail link to the United States.
