We believe every building we create, and every part of that building, positively contributes to communities where people live, work and play.What You Can Expect From Our CompanyOur employees are empowered to make a meaningful impact on our success while pursuing a wide range of opportunities to meet your personal aspirations for development and advancement within a stable, growing Canadian industry leader.What The Company Expects Of Our TeamBring yourself fully to work each dayPlaying your role on the team so together we Win as OneWelcoming and Driving Change to support our continued evolutionHelp drive the success of our Canadian Business through living our universal core valuesMaking an Impact to ensure our continued successJob DescriptionPosition SummaryReporting to the Regional Sales Manager (temporarily the Director of Sales), this position is responsible for managing all day to day operations of their branch including a financial component, sales production, operations and associate training and development.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all employee training is up to date, all safety practices are understood, and consistent safety practices are applied.Oversee branch operations for profitabilityResponsible for achieving branch sales targetsManage general office functions such as Accounts Payable, Credit & Collections, order entry, customer service, etc.Focus on overall sales channel performance, constantly looking for ways to improve client satisfaction according to agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Monitor misc. categories such as RGAs, Credits, DSOs, Change Orders etc., and address root cause issues with corrective actions as necessaryWork closely with Regional Sales Manager in planning and developing strategies and implementing programs to ensure effective selling, promotion, customer education and seamless customer service and satisfactionMonitor pricing and discounts to maximize opportunitiesManage the daily activities in the branch including customer relationshipsDevelop and maintain positive relationships with Ply Gem Canada customer baseKnowledge and communication of Ply Gem Canada policies and proceduresApprove all expenses and credits relating to the branchEffectively communicate corporate goals and objectives to staffConduct branch meetings as requiredOversee the warehouse and freight and manage inventory to ensure sufficient turns are achievedResponsible for the hiring, orientation, training and development of all staffEnsure Ply Gem Canada branch facilities and equipment are kept in a clean and safe conditionComplete knowledge of all Ply Gem Canada products and their functionsFoster a proactive and positive working environment to enhance Ply Gem Canada Branch operationsWork with senior management and other departments towards the development of products and processes that will maximize future opportunities for the company as a wholeResponsible for efficiencies and continuous improvement initiativesResponsible for security of the facility and all contents; this would include any existing outside storage areasPerform other duties as necessaryOccasional travel within Canada may be requiredQualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Management, is welcomed but not required.Proficient in Microsoft Windows as well as Word, Excel and Power Point2-5 years of previous management or supervisory experience preferably in the construction industrySales leadership experience is requiredPrevious Branch management and Profit and Loss responsibility is welcomed but not requiredProven leadership skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsCompensation: $80,000-90,000 plus SIP and car allowance.Additional InformationPly Gem Canada is committed to an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace.
