Working hours are dictated by portfolio demands under a hybrid work environment with both days in the office and at home. Additionally, occasional travel for client and team meetings will be required. Your job: Support National Client Group, Western Canada team members (Execution and Relationship Management) in managing and growing an existing portfolio of relationships (both bilateral & syndicated); Work directly with clients/prospects, financial advisors, private equity sponsors and internal banking partners (i.e.: cash management, commodities & derivatives, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, investment banking and loan syndications) to perform required due diligence on prospective opportunities; In collaboration with Relationship Managers, actively recommend, structure and negotiate terms & conditions with existing and prospective clients; Perform high-quality credit analysis, deal structuring and underwriting of existing and new lending opportunities/mandates; Participate in the negotiation of loan documentation with clients and external counsel; Manage workflow and review junior team members credit submissions to ensure compliance with group standards and internal policies; Regularly interact with Credit Risk Management to facilitate authorization of transactions in accordance with the
