JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance & Records Control Coordinator to join a leading aerospace manufacturer supporting a $2bn Dept National Defence (DND) helicopter service program. This position is onsite, 5x week at CFB Trenton (Canadian Forces Base) in Trenton, ON. The Aircraft Maintenance & Records Control Coordinator provides in-service support and manages projects aimed at enhancing or integrating new capabilities for the CH146 Griffon helicopter fleet. This role involves technical coordination, documentation, and oversight of aircraft systems throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities- Liaise with military and civilian agencies to support lifecycle and project activities.- Investigate issues, recommend solutions, and assist with testing and operational evaluations.- Draft technical instructions, modification orders, and maintain records using Microsoft Office.- Monitor project progress, manage system assets and spares, and coordinate equipment updates.- Ensure adherence to Bell and DGAEPM policies, including AF9000+ processes.- Review and action technical change requests (e.g., PCRs, UCRs, PIFs).- Assess proposals for upgrades and new systems, providing recommendations as a subject matter expert.- Assist Equipment Management Team and test agencies with AVS-related system testing.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- High School diploma required; college degree in aircraft maintenance preferred.- Minimum 2 years as an aircraft technician in the Royal Canadian Air Force.- Experience with Canadian Forces Technical Orders (especially P series), AMMIS, and Technical Airworthiness Manuals.- Ability to gain Secret or NATO Secret level clearanceNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Experience with CH146 Griffon or other fleets managed on the ADAM system is preferred.- Familiarity with ADAM, CH146 IETM/IETP, and HUMS systems is an asset.
