Our team has deep expertise in technology, mining, energy, real estate, and digital assets , and we see strong growth opportunities ahead for the right financial leader to join us.The RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on senior financial leadership roles across several of our portfolio companies. These companies are either publicly traded or in advanced stages of going public.This is a hands-on, multi-company role , responsible for guiding financial strategy, ensuring compliance with exchange and audit requirements, supporting capital markets transactions, and strengthening governance across 23 listed issuers while also supporting 23 companies in pre-public incubation .This position will complement our existing finance leadership team and will work in close coordination with our CFO based in Vancouver. The role is designed to expand capacity and coverage as our portfolio grows, with reporting alignment to the Vancouver office.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as CFO for multiple K2 Capital portfolio companies.Oversee initial listing preparation and ensure compliance with TSXV, CSE, and Cboe requirements.Manage quarterly and annual reporting, audits, and continuous disclosure obligations .Lead financial planning, control, and governance processes.Execute private placements, financings, and related regulatory filings.Build and present budgets with management teams; justify financial strategies to independent boards.Work closely with auditors, legal counsel, and external consultants under time-sensitive conditions.Ensure financial accountability and long-term health of portfolio companies.Contribute to building strong relationships with investors and capital markets participants.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of CFO or senior finance leadership experience with publicly traded companies.Must have direct experience in public markets (TSXV, CSE, or Cboe).Proficient in IFRS (required); knowledge of U.S. GAAP is an asset.Familiarity with NASDAQ / NYSE listing and SEC filing requirements is a strong differentiator.Track record of managing multiple company files simultaneously.Strong capital markets knowledge and experience with financings.Proven ability to collaborate with auditors, lawyers, and boards under pressure.Based in Toronto with flexibility for some travel.This position is being recruited through K2 Capital to support the growth of its portfolio companies. While you will be brought into the K2 ecosystem, each CFO role is formally structured at the portfolio company level .
