While our roots are in infrastructure, our work spans a wide variety of engagements including strategy and business planning, major capital projects, procurement, development and planning, and asset management.We are seeking an experienced and driven Manager to join our team, focusing on Strategy and Business Planning. These roles will play a critical part in shaping public and private sector transformation, helping clients navigate complex challenges and deliver impactful outcomes.Our national team has deep expertise that is respected and sought after by clients across the country and in all major infrastructure sectors, including conventional power, renewables, transport, water, waste, and social infrastructure. Working at KPMG, you will have the ability to work with our country-wide network of professionals and deliver positive outcomes for our clients on nationally significant projects.What You Will DoWork in a dynamic and cross-functional team with deep expertise in infrastructure delivery, operations, and managementLead advisory engagements including but not limited toGovernance and operating model designBusiness case development (including economic and financial analysis)Economic impact assessmentsStrategic planning and organizational transformationCollaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to understand their needs and co-develop tailored solutionsPrepare concise and insight-generating materials, and lead working sessions and workshops with client teams on nuanced and complex topics related to corporate governance, benefits realization, and strategic direction of an organizationSynthesize complex and sometimes-contradicting interests and inputs from interested parties into executable options or pathways forwardNavigate an organizations legacy and current operating realities to advise on viable options to proceedBring cross-functional and innovative solutions to clientsManage project teams and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfactionMentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team cultureLead in marketing and business development including proposal preparation and the development of client relationshipsWhat You Bring To The RoleBachelors degree in business, economics, public policy, or a related field (relevant post-secondary degrees considered but not mandatory)5+ years of relevant experienceExceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsA collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex problemsProven experience in strategy consulting, public sector advisory, or infrastructure-related planning leading to tangible results and positive client feedbackEstablished local network of contacts, and/or demonstrated ability to establish meaningful business relationships in the pastExperience in consulting or advisory roles, ideally within a similarly sized professional services firm in Canada or abroadFamiliarity with infrastructure, capital projects, or public sector transformation is an assetStrong understanding of public sector governance, policy, and capital planning processesDemonstrated ability to work with senior executives and cross-functional teamsKPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $85,500 to $127,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicants base salary within this range is based on the individuals location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
