ob Title: Supplier Readiness Specialist Location: Calgary, Alberta Pay Rate: $45$55/hour Contract Type: 7 months (with potential for extension) Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing Overview: We are seeking a skilled Supplier Readiness Specialist to support a leading aerospace component manufacturing facility in Calgary. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in supply chain operations, manufacturing engineering, and supplier readiness in a high-precision production environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess and validate supplier readiness for aerospace component production Collaborate with suppliers to ensure capacity, capability, and quality expectations are met prior to production launch Identify and mitigate risks within the supply base to avoid disruptions Conduct supplier audits, readiness reviews, and performance monitoring Partner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, quality, and production teams Develop and track action plans to ensure supplier timelines and deliverables are aligned with project requirements Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing engineering within an industrial or aerospace setting Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supplier performance management Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve readiness or capacity challenges Ability to read technical drawings and understand product specifications Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills Preferred: Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries Familiarity with supplier onboarding and development processes Additional Details: Position is based onsite at the clients Calgary facility Full-time hours (day shift), contract role Compensation: $45$55/hour depending on experience
