Human Resources Manager - Full-Time, Exempt We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to lead people and labor relations strategy across one of our Key Locations in Greater Vancouver Area. This role will provide strategic HR leadership while directly managing a team of four and indirectly supporting a workforce of approximately 350-370 employees. The HR Manager will partner closely with senior leaders and union representatives to drive an employee-centered culture, foster positive labor relations, and align people strategies with business performance. This is a key leadership role requiring a strong balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities People Leadership & Development (35%) Lead, coach, and develop HR team members while reinforcing a servant-leadership approach that fosters an inclusive, high-performing culture. Employee & Labor Relations (20%) Oversee all union and employee relations activities including contract negotiations, grievance management, arbitration, and leadership coaching. Strategic Business Partnership (20%) Collaborate with senior leaders to influence business outcomes, drive organizational growth, and support operational excellence. Data-Driven Decision Making (15%) Ensure people systems and processes are optimized to deliver accurate, actionable insights that strengthen leadership confidence and decision-making. Corporate & Regional Initiatives (10%) Actively contribute to broader HR and business initiatives, including hiring events, payroll optimization, and performance systems. What Youll Do Build trusted partnerships with executives, managers, employees, and union leaders. Administer and execute collective bargaining agreements, including grievance and arbitration processes. Provide strategic and tactical support in negotiations and contract implementation. Lead complex investigations and high-stakes employee relations matters. Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent while mitigating turnover risks. Maintain accurate HRIS, payroll, and employee records to support compliance and reporting. Champion a culture of growth, accountability, and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience. 710 years of HR management experience (with direct leadership of HR teams). 57 years of labor relations experience, including first-chair contract negotiations and grievance management. Demonstrated success in a unionized, production-based environment. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (WorkDay, iCIMS, Kronos/UKG preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams). Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
