To Move, Inspire & WOW!!! in everything we make, deliver, and stand for.About the RoleThe Director of Operations at Roma Moulding is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all four of our distribution centers, as well as managing the supply chain. This role will have you working closely with the CEO to ensure our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and strategically. You will lead and mentor our DC leaders, implement process improvements, and ensure that all areas of operations are aligned with company goals.Your role will focus on everything from managing budgets and streamlining processes to supporting quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement. You will need to be a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to meeting both short-term goals and long-term business objectives.What You Will OwnOperational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of all four Distribution Centers and the supply chain, ensuring operational efficiency and optimal performance.Strategic Planning & Execution: Work with the CEO to set strategic goals and align operations with company-wide objectives.Budget Management: Review and adjust annual budgets to ensure operational effectiveness and maximize profitability.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate the efficiency of operational processes and procedures, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and provide feedback to DC leaders, ensuring they meet performance expectations and are supported in their professional growth.Policy & Procedure Development: Revise and formulate operational policies and procedures, promoting implementation across all teams.Vendor & Partner Relationships: Manage relationships and agreements with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.Quality Management: Support quality initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction through operational excellence.Data & Metrics Analysis: Evaluate performance through data analysis and operational metrics, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all operations are compliant with industry regulations and company standards.Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with other leadership teams to ensure seamless integration across departments and that operations align with the overall business strategy.Special Projects: Take on additional tasks or projects as assigned by the CEO to support business growth and continuous improvement.What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)You have successfully managed the day-to-day operations of all four distribution centers, improving efficiency and ensuring operational goals are met.Strategic goals have been set and communicated, with clear alignment between operations and company-wide objectives.You have built strong relationships with DC leaders, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and receive the coaching and support they need to succeed.Key performance metrics have been analyzed, and actionable insights have been shared with leadership to drive continued success.Who You AreYou Are a Strategic Leader: You can see the big picture while managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.You Are a Hands-On Manager: You dont just lead from a distance you are in the trenches with your team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure goals are met.You Are Results-Driven: You set clear goals, measure performance, and hold teams accountable to deliver results.You Are a Problem Solver: You proactively identify issues and take a solutions-oriented approach to resolve them quickly and efficiently.You Are an Effective Communicator: Whether its collaborating with the CEO, leading your team, or working with external partners, you communicate clearly and professionally.You Are a Process Innovator: You are always looking for ways to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance operational performance.You Are a Motivator: You inspire and lead by example, ensuring your team is aligned with company goals and committed to achieving them.You Are Adaptable: In a fast-paced environment, you are flexible and able to quickly pivot when priorities shift.You Are Organized: You manage multiple priorities efficiently, ensuring that deadlines are met and operational goals are consistently achieved.Bonus Points If You...Have experience in light manufacturing, warehousing, or supply chain management.Have a strong background in budget management and financial analysis.Are familiar with the latest trends and technologies in operations management.Have experience working with a high-growth or scaling company.Final Word This role is not for everyone.
