You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines. KIE is a multi-faceted division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on design-build and other collaborative delivery of infrastructure projects.District OverviewKiewit Infrastructure Engineering seamlessly transitions solutions from design to construction through the collaborative efforts of Design Engineering, Design Management, Proposals, Estimating, and Integrated Project Controls. Join us at Kiewit, where we go beyond construction to develop the ultimate road to success.LocationThis position is based out of our Oakville, ON office with potential assignment in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).ResponsibilitiesConsolidate best practices from project execution.Leading pursuit of design-build and alternate delivery projects.Lead team of Kiewit design engineers and subconsultants.Identify design-build opportunities and develop win strategy for capture.Interface and maintain relationships with external design partners.Manage schedule and budget.Manage deliverables, quality and compliance.Interface with other Kiewit operating districts.Interface with construction project leadership.QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of experience with focus on design-build management in the transportation and/or energy infrastructure area.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering degree.P. Eng is required.Familiarity with design-build/alternative delivery is a plus.Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.Ability to travel between 25%-50% across North America.Other Requirements:Regular, reliable attendanceWork productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environmentPerform work safely and effectively.
