ResponsibilitiesMaintaining a safe, warm and caring environment in which a high-quality extended day program can operateWorking collaboratively with other staff to help plan, develop, and implement programs of stimulating age appropriate activities for groups of children. Activities will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being, in accordance with the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH?) and the guidelines established by PLASP for all program components including P.A. DaysSupporting the ordering of food for the program, and preparing nutritious breakfast and snacks while adhering to the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide, and in accordance with the rotational snack plannerIn the Program Directors absence, being responsible for all administration of the program, including registration, record-keeping, health and safety monitoring and ordering of suppliesIn the Program Directors absence, operating programs according to the Ministry of Education (MEDU) standards and ensures the CCEYA license is in good standingParticipating fully in P.A.
