Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for cladding and building envelope projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate and detailed estimates. Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define project scope. Oversee material takeoffs, labour, and equipment costing. Mentor and train junior estimators. Prepare competitive, accurate bid packages. Conduct risk assessments and pricing strategies. Maintain historical cost data. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams. Evaluate building envelope systems for performance and compliance. Ensure estimates reflect compliance with building codes and standards. Provide recommendations on cost-effective design and installation methods.
