Key Responsibilities: Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management. Lead employee relations, workplace investigations, and support leaders in addressing workforce issues. Manage union and labor relations, including collective bargaining. Conduct wage surveys, analyze labor market trends, and support compensation planning. Partner with leadership to implement HR policies, programs, and organizational change initiatives. Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Qualifications: 510 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a management role. Experience in a unionized manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred. Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or Human Resources. Professional designation such as CHRL, SHRM, or CIPD (or working toward designation). In-depth knowledge of HR legislation, employee/labor relations, compensation, and benefits. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
