Overview Associate, Personalized Donor Stewardship is a full-time, temporary role (through February 2027) that supports the Philanthropy team with administrative leadership and stewardship activities. The role involves a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of two days per week onsite and may change as the organization finalizes its plan. About CAMH Foundation CAMH Foundation raises and stewards funds in support of CAMH, Canadas largest mental health teaching hospital. The Philanthropy team inspires philanthropic support from individuals and partners to advance discovery, improve outcomes, and promote mental health awareness. The Opportunity The Associate provides administrative leadership and stewardship support to a senior team, including the Chief Philanthropy Officer, Directors of Principal Gifts, and Senior Development Officers. The role supports the Senior Manager, Personalized Donor Stewardship and donor stewardship initiatives to strengthen relationships and drive donor retention and renewal. Key Responsibilities Provide stewardship support to the Senior Manager, Personalized Donor Stewardship and senior members of the Philanthropy Team, including executive leadership. Provide operational and administrative support (filing, invoicing, mailings, mail merge, meeting minutes, calendar management, reports, and other tasks as needed). Support stewardship activities for a small portfolio of donors and former senior volunteers requiring ongoing engagement. Develop individualized stewardship plans using data insights from the fundraising CRM, generate reports, and compile information as requested. Coordinate stewardship activities such as ThankView videos, celebrations, gifts, recognition, and related communications. Coordinate personalized recognition celebrations and tours, including invitation lists, RSVP tracking, and event logistics. Collaborate with vendors and hospital / business partners to deliver personalized engagement. Support the Impact Report process, track deliverables in the CRM, review reports, personalize content, and support distribution and donor communications. Maintain tracking systems for stewardship projects and ensure donor outreach is recorded in the CRM. Assist with recognition processes, including data entry, reporting, and administrative support. Collaborate with the Philanthropy team and partners to achieve fundraising and strategic goals. Prepare written materials to support donor activity, including briefing notes, stewardship plans, and correspondence. Develop knowledge of CAMHs major donors, prospective supporters, and senior volunteers. Understand CAMH funding priorities and mental health issues to inform donor experiences and engagement. Qualifications A post-secondary education or relevant experience is preferred. Experience working with senior fundraising staff and volunteers; major gifts or hospital / university campaign experience is an asset. Strong leadership, initiative, and judgement. Excellent relationship-building and persuasive writing skills with high attention to detail. Professionalism, customer service orientation, and tact. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated, adaptable to change, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with fundraising CRM systems such as Raisers Edge or Luminate Online is a plus. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
