This position supports our procurement team in Canada as well as US, working with vendors, pricing and supporting the vetting process of our vendors, diversity initiatives and procurement programs.Sodexo offers a competitive salary range of $89,000.00 - $100,000.00, as well as Extended Benefits (Medical, Dental, Optical, Prescription Drug Plan) from day one. The individual will actively facilitate connections between potential suppliers and internal decision-makers, support compliance by ensuring vendors meet reporting requirements, and promote Sodexos commitment to supplier diversity by representing the company at conferences, trade shows, and external engagements. This position leads the management of over 500 diverse and SME vendors and over $75 million in diverse vendor spend.Your key responsibilities include:Diverse vendor reporting (a requirement in many client contracts)Driving diverse supplier education within our Supply Management team and affiliation engagement with key diversity organizationsServe as the face of Sodexo with potential diverse and SME businesses; connect with the correct internal contact for opportunitiesHold contracted vendors accountable for reportingRepresent Sodexo at conferences and external eventsDevelops and Maintains Diverse Supplier PipelineOversee the vendor portal to identify potential new diverse vendors for the US / CANConnect potential diverse / small vendors with the correct internal contactEnsure diverse vendors are included in all category RFPsManage the general supplier diversity mailbox to assure a positive experience with SodexoAttend matchmaker events with external organizations to identify potential new partnersManage the required PAR engagement and reporting for indigenous spend to support Sodexos Gold statusManages Diverse and SME Supplier ReportingMaintain and update technology to provide quarterly reporting of 2nd Tier vendors spendEducate vendors on establishing supplier diversity program (as needed)Maintain vendor database to track spend and compliance to programEnsure accountability for diverse spend goals and vendors reportingMaintain Certification Repository for Diverse VendorsEnsure our 500+ diverse and small vendors certifications are updated and current in system from over 30 databases on a quarterly basisTracking Small business spend for completion of Better Tomorrow reporting (audited annually)Provide reporting for over 50+ clients including training unit managers and creating a newsletter with updated certificationsKey contact for Supply Managers and Ambassadors to support growth of diverse spendSupport Supply team to meet supplier diversity goalsLead Diversity Organization EngagementAttend conferences, workshops and tradeshows serving as the subject matter expert; may include meeting with potential diverse vendorsPresent on regional and/or national panels as a subject matter expert in supplier diversityRepresent Sodexo as a member of the procurement council or committee member for some organizationsQualificationsBS Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Management, Supplier Diversity or related fieldSupplier diversity certification CAMSC is a strong asset35 years in a similar position supporting supply chain managementStrong verbal and written communicationPublic speaking skills to speak to large groups as a subject matter expertStrong external networking experienceAbility to manage multiple prioritiesFinancial management with databases and spreadsheets; problem solving to improve processesExternal and internal networkingProject managementAbility to work collaboratively within and across functionsAdvanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)Experience with Brio and SAPExperience with databases to create reportsBusiness acumen to work internally and externally at all levelsBilingual French / English (oral and written) is a strong assetAdditional InformationWhat Makes Sodexo / Entegra Different :Working with us is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
