Job Title : Accounting Manager / Controller Reports To : Chief Financial Officer Company Overview : HONK is North America's leading provider of safe, contactless payments for parking and mobility. Position Overview : The Accounting Manager / Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day financial operation of our organization. This position is responsible for financial accounting including monthly close processes, A / R & A / P, payroll, coordinating various operational tasks, and administrative support to other functions.. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of multitasking effectively. Key Responsibilities : Finance & Accounting Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. Prepare and process invoices and payments Own the monthly financial close process Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Collaborate with external accountants during audits or tax filings. Prepare budget and actual reporting for the executive team Assess and Implement new tools around payroll, accounting, HRIS, benefits, etc. as required Administrative Support : Provide certain administrative support to executives and team members, including onboarding / offboarding assistances and records management Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years Experience in bookkeeping, financial record keeping, and payroll processing. Strong proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
