Job Summary: We are seeking another compassionate and dedicated Support Worker in Georgina who puts clients first. Responsibilities: Provide personal care and support to individuals in their home Administer medications as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals Assist with meal preparation and feeding Help with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior Provide dementia care and support for individuals with memory loss Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Requirements: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred Knowledge of assisted living, senior care, and patient care practices Ability to administer medications following proper protocols Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals and their families Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules Please note that all positions at our organization are paid positions, including internships.
