SPECIFIC TERM, 12 MONTH YOUR ROLE Reporting to the Associate Director, Legal Services and Information Management, the incumbent is called upon to provide legal services to the various sectors of the organization. Key responsibilities include: Provides legal and strategic advice on a variety of issues relating to the organization and its activities, including entertainment and labor law; Drafts, reviews and negotiates various types of contracts, including in connection with project financing, the procurement of goods and services, and the establishment of partnerships; Participates in the development of corporate policies, guidelines and directives; Participates in the processing of requests for access to information and personal information, as required from time to time; Provides training to organization employees on ethical and legal obligations within the organization. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Member of a Canadian provincial Bar; Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role; Experience in business law, labour law or federal administrative law; Knowledge of entertainment or intellectual property law, an asset; Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and under pressure; Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (CBC level).
