Key responsibilities Lead annual budgets, capital planning, and five-year forecasts; Oversee financial reporting, audits, and procurement processes; Manage debt, investments, and cash flow; Develop financial policies and evaluate performance across FRSC mandates; Support cost-saving initiatives and revenue generation strategies; Liaise with external advisors and internal teams to ensure financial integrity; Supervise payroll, pensions, insurance, and regulatory compliance; Present financial insights to the Board and contribute to strategic decision-making. Qualifications Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation; Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field; 5+ years in senior financial roles, ideally in public sector; Strong knowledge of Canadian public finance, legislation, and accounting systems; Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
