As Vice President, National Sales, you will lead a high-performing national sales organization whose mission is to help customers achieve their strategic priorities, build stronger businesses, and deliver exceptional value to our customers and the communities we serve. This role drives our sales strategy through dynamic leadership and strategic direction of our regional sales team across the country. You will develop strategies that drive market share growth, leverage analytics and market intelligence to help develop and implement innovative ideas and collaborative approaches to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will be a change agent that thinks strategically with exceptional communication and sales leadership skills and a passion for driving results. Here is where you will be focusing to ensure your success Inspiring Leadership: Develop and coach Regional Sales VPs into dynamic leaders who empower their Account Managers to perform at their best. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation to create an environment where sales teams thrive and customers feel supported. Customer-Centric Strategy: Shape and execute forward-looking sales strategies that drive revenue growth and anticipate evolving customer needs. Leverage market insights, industry trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities that help partners achieve long-term goals. High-Impact Sales Execution: Ensure sales teams are equipped with tools, processes, and know-how to serve customers with confidence. Deliver world-class territory planning, pipeline management, and resource optimization to create a proactive and customer-focused sales force. Empowering Through Sales Enablement: Collaborate with Sales Enablement to design training, tools, and resources that elevate sales capabilities and strengthen customer impact. Ensure every team member is equipped to be a trusted advisor to clients. Insight-Driven Growth: Use data, analytics, and CRM to surface opportunities, generate actionable insights, and enable proactive conversations with customers that move their businesses forward. Forecasting and Planning for Success: Partner with Finance, Risk, and Operations to build accurate forecasts and resource plans to support customers today and into the future. Performance Excellence: Establish meaningful performance metrics beyond sales results, measuring customer engagement, satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth. Drive continuous improvement by identifying capability gaps and delivering the highest value in every interaction. Solving for the Customer: Champion a sales methodology rooted in understanding customer challenges and delivering tailored solutions that advance their business objectives and strengthen trust. Key Relationships and Partnerships: Build enduring, strategic partnerships with senior leaders across our lender base to align national and regional strategies with customer outcomes. Collaboration Across the Enterprise: Work with Finance, Marketing, Risk, and Operations to deliver integrated solutions that balance growth, customer experience, and risk management. Ensure the customers voice remains at the center of decision-making. Communicate with Purpose: Deliver clear, consistent, and inspiring communication across the sales organization to align and motivate. Serve as a trusted voice within Sagens Senior Leadership Team and collaborate with senior executives to align and execute the sales strategy. What We Are Looking For 10+ years experience in sales leadership, business development and relationship management in the mortgage lending or financial services industry. University degree. Demonstrated experience in strategic sales management and coaching, with a proven track record of top-line results. Extensive experience leading a large team of management and professional staff. Superior relationship management skills with the ability to influence customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership in the mortgage industry. Deep understanding of mortgage default insurance, mortgage lending practices, and risk management principles to deliver top-line results. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and translate into strategic opportunities. Resilience with persuasive communication to challenge the norm and drive results. Accountability for own work and team results.
