One of our clients, a major player in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a Portfolio Coordinator to join their newly established Business Transformation team on a 1-year contract. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team focused on ERP Modernization, AI integration, and cost competitiveness.Position Overview:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Transformation Portfolio, the Portfolio Coordinator will play a tactical, execution-focused role, managing the operational details of a portfolio of transformation projects. This includes financial tracking, schedule and dependency management, value delivery, governance support, and team collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting:Maintain detailed financial tracking for the portfolio and individual projects, including monthly forecasting and variance analysis.Collaborate with Finance and IT to produce standard reports, analyze variances, and flag issues.Support annual long-range planning and maintain financials in ServiceNow PPM.Support vendor invoicing and payment workflows in OpenInvoice.Develop and maintain a portfolio-level schedule view, including cross-project dependencies and key milestones.Consolidate monthly project status reports into a portfolio-level view, highlighting financial risks, delays, and dependencies.Track adherence to the Capital Allocation Framework and provide input into investment memo financials.Co-develop and maintain the Business Transformation Value Delivery Framework.Liaise with supply chain, vendor management, and vendors on PSOW status, document filing, and invoice processing.Maintain trackers for interfaces, resource requirements, onboarding/offboarding, and utilization.Manage portfolio-level Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) and prepare decision materials.Team & Content Collaboration:Build and maintain SharePoint sites, content server workspaces, and Teams channels.Ensure documentation is organized, current, and accessible.Prepare and distribute materials for steering committees and portfolio status meetings; take minutes and follow up on actions.Manage team communications, reminders, and email distribution lists.Maintain team calendars and coordinate key project events.Provide responsive support for ad-hoc team requests and tasks.Qualifications:Bachelors degree.Minimum 10 years experience in project coordination and/or project management.Experience in oil and gas environments is an asset.Familiarity with capital allocation frameworks, project governance, and value delivery frameworks.Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.Why Apply?This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking transformation team, working on innovative projects that drive value and competitiveness in the energy sector.
