Specific Key Responsibilities & DutiesOversee transportation team people & workload management, expedites and problem solving Assist with carrier & mode selection based on shipment specificationsDeliver key initiatives & projects related to global transportationEffectively manage global transportation relationships with carriers & forwardersNegotiate mutually beneficial outcomes with internal & external partnersWorking in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities ProcedureWill comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. facilitiesOther duties or projects as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements+5 years of experience in global logistics all modes Experience leading fast-paced transportation team(s)Comfortable managing diverse priorities & jumping in to execute when needed Solid understanding of import and export requirementsProfessional accreditation in logistics, supply chain or customs an assetStrong analytical abilities; Data analysis, problem solving, planning Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; ability to manage difficult conversationsNaturally focused on continuous improvement & personal development Why Join Jamieson?
