Overview SA9858 - Associate Optometrist - Pearle Vision. The Associate Optometrist is responsible for delivering exceptional eye care and leading the execution of NECE, partnering with the Store Manager and Field Leadership to maintain a safe, motivating work environment and support growth for the organization. Responsibilities Conveys a 100% commitment to providing excellent Patient/Customer Service through delivering and leading the execution of NECE. Assist with greeting patients and answering phones when needed. Conduct all service in accordance with Clinical Protocols and accepted standards of care. Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations. Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship. Coach Associate Doctors on clinical protocols (audits charts as appropriate). Communicate effectively with all store associates to ensure a seamless eyecare experience and beneficial patient outcomes. Uncover patients needs and prescribe products and services to meet those needs; transition patients to a sales associate with dialogue regarding needs and products. Support training in areas including orientation, front desk procedures, pre-testing, telephone skills, contact lens training, clinical protocols, Pearle Certified Eyecare, safety, HIPAA, and loss prevention. Encourage associate decision making at the level closest to the patient; provide timely feedback to associates and Doctor/Managers. Collaborate with the Store Manager to complete annual performance reviews and forecast staffing needs. Support store-wide success and strive to exceed targets in areas such as secret shops, sales to goals, exam growth, store profitability, and adherence to clinical protocols. Recruit and select high-caliber staff in conjunction with the Store Manager. Manage diagnostics, inventory, Managed Vision Care claims, and office supplies to ensure timely processing and availability. Maintain store appearance and ensure visual displays follow company guidelines.
