Description: Seeking the services of one (1) Business Analyst, Level 3, to work as part of the Project Management & Program Delivery project team in collaboration with the core project team, solution delivery vendor(s), and other stakeholders as required. Provide support during the design, implementation, and testing phases of the project. Report progress regularly to Project Management, raise issues and concerns, and propose mitigation strategies. Lead and/or participate in teams developing solutions within MTO's Transportation Safety (TS) Division. Conduct feasibility analysis, project scoping, and provide project work estimates. Conduct Joint Requirements Planning and Joint Application Design sessions. Analyze and map processes/data for current and future states. Develop requirements involving elicitation, elaboration, analysis, specification, and validation. Use ministry-mandated requirement management tools and templates. Review and provide feedback on technical design documents. Conduct and/or participate in walkthroughs at each project milestone. Transfer knowledge to TS and I&IT Cluster at all stages. Report status and follow overall direction from the Project Manager and/or Lead Business Analyst. The Deliverables include (but are not limited to): Business Cases and Requests for Bids Business requirements/rules Business process models System Requirements specifications Business/Data Glossary Business and System use cases User epics, stories, themes, Product backlog, and sprint plans Functional and Non-functional requirements Requirements Traceability Matrices User Interface specifications, prototypes Risks and Issues Artefacts/documents for enterprise architecture development Other artefacts as determined by the project Support to Development and Test teams in areas such as: Building and testing support Reviewing test strategies, plans, and cases Managing defect logs Testing applications Defining integration and user acceptance test plans Identifying and resolving issues Documenting risks and coordinating project interdependencies Documenting artefacts in a shared library Experience and Skill Set Requirements: Knowledge of SDLC and methodologies including agile, waterfall, iterative Experience with Business Object Oriented Modeling, UML tools Experience with documenting deliverables Experience with large integrated mainframe and mid-tier environments Experience with automated system implementation, online and batch transactions Experience with sprint facilitation and translating business needs to technical requirements Experience with Public Sector architecture, applications, databases, and legacy infrastructure Knowledge of project management frameworks and policies in the Public Sector Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience in requirements development, feasibility analysis, project scoping, and estimates Experience with user stories, product backlog, sprints, and iterative implementation Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and time management skills Ability to build relationships and liaise with stakeholders and vendors Leadership skills in user experience and design guidance Knowledge of accessibility standards, including AODA and digital standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
