More information can be found at . Job Summary The Project Engineer will develop project plans based on customer requirements, ensuring they meet program needs in a cost-efficient and timely manner. The role involves planning, coordinating, and directing new projects or processes, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and procedures. Job Responsibilities Develop, lead, and deliver project plans for proposals and ongoing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Manage project timelines, track progress, and develop mitigation plans as needed. Control project costs, ensuring projects stay within budget. Ensure resource availability for project activities. Communicate with internal stakeholders to keep projects on track. Report on project status and address critical issues. Serve as the primary contact with customers for project updates. Support Quality and Production teams in troubleshooting and process improvements. Maintain and update records and specifications. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of project engineering experience, preferably in automotive. Project Management certification is a plus. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, GD&T knowledge preferred. Experience with program lifecycle development from quote to production. Leadership experience in APQP processes for automotive suppliers or OEMs. Knowledge of injection molding, blow molding, plastics bonding, and assembly processes is preferred. Strong communication skills for coordinating with customers, suppliers, and teams.
