Overview Join to apply for the (CAN) Relief Pharmacist role at Walmart Canada Position Summary: The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and the Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. What You'll Do Ensure excellent patient experience; locate merchandise on the sales floor. Establish and develop a strong working relationship with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders. Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors or hospitals. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models; counsel patients on pharmaceutical products. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products. Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs. Operate all pharmacy equipment (register, computer system, etc.). Protect and maintain patient privacy and follow provincial regulations established by the regulatory body. Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet specific patient needs. Follow OBW regulations as per the Relief Pharmacist program. Travel to various locations and follow the schedules set by the Relief program coordinator. Develop collaborative relationships with other health care providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, their community etc.). Minimum Qualifications Age - 16 or older License - Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization) Preferred Qualifications Walmart will accommodate the disability-related needs of applicants and associates as required by law.
