As Relationship Manager for our Metrolinx Key Client, within GHDs Enterprise Client Program, you will represent our clients voice and play a crucial role in executing our client-focused strategies. You will exemplify world-class client relationship management, demonstrating empathy and leadership, and will lead a high-performing Client Engagement team that delivers a personalized experience and solutions aligned with Metrolinxs vision and objectives. This includes evaluating how other agencies interact with Metrolinx (e.g., TTC, Infrastructure Ontario, Ministry of Transportation) in shaping the Provinces transportation infrastructure, transit-oriented communities, mobility hubs and urban development. Your goal is to connect potential across GHD and introduce Metrolinx to our full breadth of services to meet their changing needs. Strong client relationships and the achievement of GHDs revenue and profitability targets will be your measures of success. Our workplace supports a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. This role can be based in any GTA officeToronto, Mississauga, Markham or Whitby. Responsibilities Key Account Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing Client Engagement Team delivering technical solutions and elevated client experiences. Client Relationship Development: Develop and implement a Client Interaction Plan for Metrolinx to identify and build relationships with decision-makers and influencers; promote GHDs capabilities and monitor public spending and regulatory developments; ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Strategic Growth Planning: Lead the creation and execution of a yearly Growth Plan for the Metrolinx key account with a 35-year horizon; drive financial performance and growth targets. Client Account Operations: Develop and implement a key client business plan, maintain an opportunities pipeline, and ensure financial performance (revenue, backlog, KPIs) of the account within the Enterprise Client Program. Client Focus: Maintain deep knowledge of the clients organization to ensure delivery meets needs; act as Project Director on appropriate projects; identify growth opportunities and deliver tailored solutions. Client Experience: Seek client feedback, improve satisfaction, resolve complex issues quickly, and collaborate with teams for effective resolutions. Collaboration: Engage with Market Leaders and other Enterprise Relationship Managers; mentor the next generation of Business Development Leads; act as client representative at Tender Review Group meetings. Diversity of Service Offering: Work with Ontario Region leaders to bring a diverse service offering representing GHDs full capabilities; drive innovation and integration of Digital and Advisory solutions. Industry Networking: Represent and promote GHD at networking events and industry forums. Education Professional Engineer, Professional Project Manager or related disciplines Experience Minimum of 10+ years experience leading client management, business development or delivering programs for a municipality or transit agency Deep experience understanding Ontarios infrastructure opportunities and challenges and impacts on connecting and moving people Understanding of design, construction, operation and maintenance of transit systems including LRTs, Subways and Commuter rail Experience managing business teams and resources (operational managers, project managers, staff, contractors and vendors) for development of business solutions Experience working for Metrolinx and/or other related Provincial Agencies or Ministries Understanding of how Metrolinx functions and interfaces with other municipalities, agencies, the Province or other Ministries Experience with corporate strategic planning and operationalizing successful strategies Strong client-relations and collaboration across broad geography; adaptability to change Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce; ability to interpret market data and trends for monthly updates Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines Strong stakeholder engagement, empathy, and tact; effective communication in complex contexts Willingness and ability to travel within the GTHA EOO Statement As a diverse and inclusive organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
