The Placement Broker is responsible for understanding our insurance suppliers, specifically commercial insurance companies, their processes, and their risk appetite. This individual has a sound understanding of the various products available by each insurer and can provide objective product analysis and comparisons with competing products and rates. The Placement Broker develops and maintains lasting relationships with various HUB International departments, key business partners, and clients. The Commercial Marketing broker works closely with Account Managers, Account Associates, and Account Executives to deliver insurance solutions needed to meet client demands. Full-time career working out of our Winnipeg Head Office or our Emerald Park branch in Saskatchewan. What You Will Bring To The Role: 5-7 years of commercial property & casualty experience is required. Experience as an Account Manager is an asset. Level 2 license, and the equivalent in other jurisdictions in which HUB International does commercial lines business, is required. Working towards CAIB or CIP designation. Motivated to help support a diverse team and contribute to a team environment. Pro-active and a self-starter with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal. Works well in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Proficiency in windows-based computer systems. Why Join HUB?
