Location: Sherwood Park, AB or Regina, SK Model: Hybrid (Mon, Tues, Thurs in office) Suggested Pay Rate (T4) : $46.56 Duration: 1 Year (with possibility of extension) Start Date: ASAP Note: Driver's Abstract + Drug & Alcohol Testing Required Role Overview: We are seeking a Project Engineer II to support the safe execution of capital maintenance, right-of-way repairs, and operational projects within the Prairie Region. This includes electrical/mechanical equipment repair, tank inspections, civil works, and environmental monitoring support. Key Responsibilities: Project Engineering: Finalize project design and scope in compliance with Enbridge standards. Develop RFPs and evaluate consultant qualifications. Facilitate design reviews and manage change processes. Review isolation plans, inspection/test plans, and critical operation documents. Ensure proper engineering documentation for execution. Approve Alternate Isolation job plans per policy. Project Execution: Contribute to regional operating and capital project planning. Identify resource needs and key stakeholders. Develop execution schedules and align with outages. Mitigate risks and finalize permits/regulatory applications. Lead procurement and resource selection. Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant execution. Ensure quality documentation and asset turnover. Complete project closure per lifecycle process. Qualifications: Post-secondary engineering education with 4+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Enbridge Construction Standards, O&M Manuals. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and customer service orientation. Effective team collaboration and time management.
