Your role Review a wide range of personal tax, review and compilation engagements and ensure all tax-related matters are addressed prior to filing Review complex Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff Review and approve technical research and tax planning recommendations for private companies Deliver high quality tax planning, services, and advice Work closely with Partners and other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements Lead special tax engagements Build and manage client relationships at a senior level and identify client service opportunities Provide support, coaching and development of firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and matters on an ongoing basis Preparation and presentation of technical sessions to firm staff Managing engagement financials including budgets, work in process variances and billing What you bring to the table Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation or equivalent Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master of Tax Program 7-10+ years of public accounting experience with experience in a tax-specific environment High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware, and TaxPrep considered an asset Excellent attention to detail and project management skills Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to thrive in a client-focused, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines Experience working with owner-managed businesses considered an asset Whats in it for you Competitive salary Flex time Comprehensive benefit package Location and employment type Greater Moncton, NB | Permanent, Full-time Schedule Monday to Friday Additional information Salary range will be communicated at a later stage in the hiring process.
