Overview The Department of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry in the Faculty of Science & Engineering at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Nuclear Engineering. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, tenure stream with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Responsibilities Pursue innovative and independent research; establish an outstanding, competitive, externally funded research program. Teach in the chemical engineering curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to interdisciplinary research, and engage in collegial departmental service. Qualifications PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment (or equivalent). Baccalaureate degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline. Record of excellence in both research and teaching; evidence of research excellence via publications, research statement, conference presentations, awards, and strong letters of reference. Evidence of teaching excellence via teaching dossier, teaching statement, sample materials, teaching evaluations, or equivalent. Eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
