About The Role Our client seeks a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a technically strong team working on meaningful public-sector projects across BC. This role suits someone who enjoys complex coordination, values quality and constructability, and wants to contribute to technical excellence within a collaborative, people-first studio. Youll contribute to a wide range of institutional, healthcare, commercial and community projects from early design through construction, delivering thoughtful, durable, and contextually sensitive architecture. Key Responsibilities Lead Revit production and model coordination across all project phases, from schematic design through IFC documentation. Produce detailed working drawings and specifications with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and constructability. Apply deep technical knowledge of building envelope systems, detailing, and building codes to ensure high-quality project delivery. Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain design integrity and project efficiency. Participate in contract administration, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site reviews. Support or lead project teams depending on experience and project scope. Contribute to development of office technical standards and BIM workflows, promoting consistency and efficiency. Mentor junior and intermediate technologists, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth within the team. Qualifications 8+ years of relevant architectural technology experience, preferably in the public/institutional sector (education, healthcare, cultural, or civic). Advanced Revit proficiency with strong modeling, documentation, and coordination skills. Expertise in construction documentation, detailing, and building envelope assemblies. Solid understanding of BCBC, VBBL, and local authority requirements. Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud. Diploma or Degree in Architectural & Building Technology (or equivalent). AScT, C.Tech, or other professional designation considered an asset.
