Were seeking a Fractional Human Resources Director to lead and elevate our people strategy as we scale. This part-time, strategic role will provide executive-level HR leadership on a flexible basis, working closely with our Managing Partner and operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior HR professional with legal or professional services Main Responsibilities Develop and implement a people and culture strategy aligned with firm growth and values. Advise leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession design. Collaborate on strategic hiring and retention initiatives. Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy and onboarding programs. Refine compensation models and oversee performance management processes. Lead initiatives to foster culture, connection, and resilience across offices. Ensure compliance with BC Employment Standards, WorkSafeBC, and Law Society requirements. Maintain employment policies, contracts, and handbooks. Advise on sensitive HR matters and conflict resolution. Strategic retention and culture roadmap for 20252026 Implement learning programs Other office duties as needed Required 10+ years of progressive HR leadership, ideally in legal or professional services. Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation strategy, and organizational development. Exceptional communication, discretion, and emotional intelligence. Proven success implementing people systems in growth-phase organizations.
