Overview Senior Delivery Manager @Compunnel Inc. | MBA, Recruitment SME (Internal Unit Lead - Direct Accounts Project Delivery) Mainframe Developer (Reinsurance Systems) Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid - 3 days Onsite. Type: Long Term Contract. We are seeking a hands-on technical leader to support and modernize our North American reinsurance operations, leveraging the TAI system. This role bridges legacy mainframe (COBOL/SQL) systems and our modernized Azure/.NET environment, with opportunities to lead, code, and drive migration. Responsibilities Support North America TAI reinsurance operations (US & Canada). Work across Mainframe (COBOL, SQL) and Azure/.NET (TAI v3.7) platforms. Develop Python scripts for automation, data handling, and system interfaces. Design and maintain SQL database solutions. Deliver operational support, enhancements, and change requests. Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions while being hands-on. Required Skills 10+ years Mainframe & COBOL experience. Strong in Python (automation, data handling, integration). Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Experience with CICS. Nice to Have Financial/Reinsurance industry exposure. Familiarity with change management & SDLC processes. Knowledge of .NET (C#), Azure Cloud. Experience with TAI system. 23 years leadership/PM experience managing offshore/onsite teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
