The Social / Digital Marketing Specialist will champion the strategy and execution of the New York Fries brand, in both Canada (Eng + French) and the US (different accounts) through designing creative and ownership of their digital channels. This role will take ownership of social media planning and content creation, work with influencers and related agencies, leverage UGC and create original content on trend and on brand. In addition, this role will monitor + engage with guests in DMs, strategize content on newyorkfries.com and FrySociety loyalty program. The role will also support the aggregator delivery channels including menu maintenance, promotions and related budgets. The individual will be a critical part of the brand marketing team in executing NYFs brand identity across all digital platforms. **What you will do in this role:** - Manage + create content for New York Fries social media platforms (Primarily: TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook) - must be active on all platforms - Work closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing to create social + digital brand campaigns that drive traffic, sales and engagement - Create content calendars with engaging content to support National activity and piggybacking on trends - Write + translate social posts + digital ads. Posting cadence is 2 - 3 times per week - Be the voice of both brands with proactive and reactive community management. Monitor for potential threats or opportunities from what people are saying about the brand online, and work with Guest Services Team for additional social monitoring (Customer Service/Negative) - Set benchmarks for social/digital measurement and work with internal/external teams to review, track performance and make tactical suggestions for future campaigns - Establish, build and maintain relationships with relevant influencers and agencies including coordinating influencer campaigns, loyalty program offers, online promotions + contest - Plan, outline and coordinate photo/video shoots as and when needed for social or digital purposes - Be confident to create, perform in + edit digital content, both stills and videos - Create POS images on Photoshop and indesign for print and digital production - Identify promotions to grow sales through delivery channels and work with Operations Team to ensure all the POS details are being met - Manage menu changes, pricing and all menu changes - Work directly with delivery partners to build these channels through promotion and advertising **What we are looking from you:** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual French/English is considered an asset) - Demonstrated digital and interactive experience - A minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in social media and digital marketing - A minimum 1 - 2 years of experience developing marketing plans - Demonstrated ability to create, produce + edit social media posts independently - Experienced using Photoshop + In Design platforms.
