You will put your best foot forward by helping Deliver superior team member experiences by providing payroll expertise and guidance to all of our stakeholdersBridge the gap between system and people by being the business process expert of the various HR tools we own and providing ongoing coaching to our payroll and benefit administratorsBring a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and implementing process improvementsEnsure the integrity of our overall data through audits, automation, and a relentless focus on safeguarding the quality of our workWhat youll doReporting to the Manager of Global Payroll Operations and, you will bring your A-game by:Assisting the timely processing of all aspects of semi-monthly and weekly payroll in North America WorkDay & Ceridian Dayforce. This includes but is not limited to day to day processing, ROE prep, and responding to general ledger inquiries.Performing professional analysis of payroll related transactionsPrioritizing and responding to second tier employee inquiries in an effective manner within established SLAsAssisting with year-end government filingsParticipating in peer audit/review of payrolls being processed by team members and collaboratively communicate issues as appropriateParticipating in special projects as requiredAssisting on other administrative duties as assignedQualificationsWhat you bringMinimum of 1 year payroll experience working on both federally and provincially regulated Canadian or US payrollsKnowledge of payroll related taxation rules/ lawsProficient with MS Office applications, specifically MS Word, with an intermediate to advanced level of experience with ExcelA high degree of comfort with technology, with a desire to learnExperience with payroll software, such as Ceridian Dayforce, (WorkDay would be considered an asset)Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of management within the organizationStrong analytical and problem solving skills dealing with regular and complex problemsSkilled at handling confidential information using tact and discretionDeadline driven, resilient and able to work well in both structured and unstructured environmentsGreat-to-havesPost-secondary education in Human Resources is an assetCPA/PCP/CPP/PLP/LAP designation would be an assetBilingual in English and French, both written and oral, is considered an assetSalary Range: $60,000-$90,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
