OverviewBDO is looking for an Analyst, Partner Matters to join our Internal Finance department. Reporting to the Manager, Partner Matters, this is a 12 month contract within the Partner Matters team of the Finance department. This role works collaboratively with members of Finance, HR, and Legal departments to provide exceptional service for approximately 500 Partners across the firm.ResponsibilitiesMaintain comprehensive information for each Partner in our ERP (Workday)Prepare agreements for new Partners and retiring PartnersCollaborate with cross-functional teams for on-boarding of new Partners and transitioning of retiring PartnersMaintain confidential portals for active and retired Partners; post financial and tax informationPrepare and organize large volumes of letters and other confidential documentsCreate daily transaction journal entries and perform account reconciliationsMaintain supplier information updatesPrepare and submit monthly and quarterly payment requestsMaintain capital and compensation informationPrepare confidential correspondence to Partners and their banks regarding financial matters relating to their partnershipBe knowledgeable about Firm policies that affect Partner compensation, draws, capital, and related mattersPrepare clear information, instructions and forms for Partners to follow regarding processes that affect their partnershipCollaborate with other members of the Partner Matters team to ensure that all have timely information as required for their rolesDocument processes and find efficiencies to process large volumes of dataAssist with projects as requiredSuccess factorsYou demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect and CollaborationYou understand your clients industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high-quality workYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clientsYou contribute to an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talentYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplaceYou grow your expertise through learning and professional developmentExperience and education2 to 4 years of related experience, preferably in a professional services environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including managing large datasets, using PivotTables and look-up formulasExperience working with a top-tier ERP system; ideally WorkdayStrong attention to detail and accuracyProfessional presence, good judgment and diligent with confidential informationAccountable, responsible and responsive, with strong customer serviceProven time management, prioritization, and organization skills to complete multiple tasks within firm timelinesProfessional and clear communication styleStrong interpersonal skills, collaboration, the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and with all levels of managementGenerate creative ideas to improve processesAdapt quickly, learn new tasks, and thrive in an environment of growth and changeUniversity Degree, preferably in a financial disciplineWhy BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canadas Top 100 Employers for 2025.
