We look for people who have a forward-thinking mind-set and who exemplify the Wolf Ways:We are OneWolf, We Find a Better Way, We Do The Right Thing, and We Own It!The OpportunityWolf Midstream is seeking a highly experienced Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Stakeholder Relations to lead key regulatory, environmental, and Indigenous engagement efforts that support Wolfs operations and growth projects.This strategic leadership role is accountable for ensuring full regulatory compliance across all facilities and projects, driving meaningful stakeholder and Indigenous engagement, developing long-range strategies that mitigate risk, and embedding regulatory and Indigenous considerations into Wolfs overall business strategy. The role also oversees the ongoing development and execution of Wolfs management system and information governance programs, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.This role requires significant travel throughout Alberta and strong leadership experience across regulatory, stakeholder, Indigenous, and policy domains.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & Risk MitigationEnsure all Wolf facilities and projects remain fully compliant with applicable regulations, directives, and permitsDevelop, maintain, and implement internal and external policies and procedures to support business requirementsLead internal and external audits to ensure ongoing regulatory and environmental complianceMonitor, interpret, and advise on emerging regulations, government policy, Indigenous case law, and industry best practicesSteward positive, strategic relationships with regulatory bodies, including the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), DFO, and municipal and provincial authoritiesProvide strategic regulatory counsel to project teams, operations, and executive leadership to mitigate regulatory and operational risksTrack and manage departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with Wolfs financial planning processesStakeholder and Indigenous EngagementLead the development and implementation of long-range Indigenous and community engagement strategies aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and Wolfs risk profileDevelop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with Indigenous communities, all required levels of government, community partners, Environmental Non-Government Organizations, and any other relevant stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate reputational, operational, project-related, and regulatory risks through proactive engagement and planned communication strategiesChampion cultural awareness and inclusivity across Wolfs operations, integrating Indigenous knowledge and values into internal decision-makingRepresent Wolf at community events, regulatory hearings, and multistakeholder forums to advance transparency and mutual interestsLead the negotiation and implementation of economic inclusion strategies and partnership agreements with Indigenous communitiesEnsure all engagement activities are thoroughly documented and reported to meet regulatory and internal standardsLead the preparation and delivery of executive-level briefings, board-level reports, and regulatory filings on engagement activities and outcomesAct as a key member of Wolfs project leadership team, leading regulatory and stakeholder deliverables for projects and operationsManage key regulatory and engagement consultants, setting clear deliverables, accountabilities, and performance expectationsExecute project deliverables, conduct risk analysis, manage critical path schedules, and troubleshoot issues as requiredAlign regulatory and stakeholder initiatives with Wolfs project execution plans and critical schedulesManagement Systems and Information GovernanceLead and ensure the ongoing development, execution, and compliance of Wolfs Management System, including CSA Z662 compliance and audit programsCoordinate assurance activities to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the management system and present findings to senior leadershipOversee information management practices, ensuring all critical documents are controlled, archived, and managed according to Wolfs standardsLead the annual records retention and destruction program to ensure organizational compliance with information governance policiesQualifications and ExperienceEducation:Post-secondary degree in Environmental Science, Indigenous Studies, Public Policy, Communications, or a related disciplineExperience:15+ years of progressive experience in regulatory affairs, Indigenous and stakeholder relations, environmental management, or public affairs within the energy, infrastructure, or resource sectorsMinimum of 58 years in a senior or leadership role overseeing regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement activitiesProven track record developing and executing regulatory strategies and Indigenous engagement programs, including successful negotiation of agreementsDeep understanding of Albertas regulatory environment, Indigenous governance structures, and ESG trendsSkills:Strong leadership, mentorship, and team development capabilitiesAbility to set strategic goals, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies across regulatory and stakeholder landscapesExceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skillsHigh ethical standards, professionalism, and commitment to responsible business practicesAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization for executive reportingHighly adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environmentTravel required
