This role involves working on projects at various locations, such as Jasper, Banff, and other sites across Alberta, requiring travel as needed.The Foreman will lead and execute physical labor tasks. Responsibilities include supervising the construction crew, managing worksite safety, and ensuring that tasks are executed to the highest quality standards under the direction of the Site Supervisor.What We OfferA work environment where safety is always the top priority.Monthly employee appreciation events.A dynamic corporate culture with room for growth.Career development opportunities.Exclusive employee discounts.Access to top-tier health and medical programs.Who You AreAt least 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction, focusing on interior renovations.Hands-on experience with framing, drywall installation, flooring, tiles, carpentry, and finishing.Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and work orders.Knowledgeable in construction safety protocols and experienced in identifying potential hazards.Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with proven ability to supervise crews and coordinate tasks effectivelyStrong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with coworkers and subcontractorsPhysically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks requiring strength, stamina, and focusGood to have prior experience working on historical building renovations or luxury hotel properties (e.g., 5-star hotels)A forward thinker who takes responsibility, overcomes obstacles with resilience, and is deeply committed to quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction and Site Tasks:Prep construction sites by clearing hazards and setting up tools and materials.Execute tasks such as rough framing, drywall installation, painting, sanding, waterproofing, and concrete finishing.Assemble scaffolding, shoring, and braces as needed.Assist with demolition and material handling.Leadership & CoordinationSupervise and guide construction crews, ensuring quality work is completed on scheduleCommunicate site challenges to the Site Supervisor and propose solutionsCollaborate with subcontractors and trades for efficient task completionSafety And ComplianceAdhere to health and safety regulations and ensure all team members follow site safety practicesWear and enforce the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Report hazards or safety concerns promptly to the Site SupervisorMust have: Basic Health & Safety certifications as per Alberta construction requirements.WHMISWorking at HeightsFirst Aid TrainingWorksite ManagementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all timesWhat We Valueadmire constructive thinkers.value trust and transparency.believe it's the little details that make for an exceptional customer experience.establish a successful culture from the inside out.BUILD IT is an inclusive equal employment opportunity employer.
