Business Analyst Information Management (Contractor)THE POSITIONWe're seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Business Analyst to join our Information Management team. In this role, you will lead Information Management projects through the full lifecycle from gathering business requirements and analysing needs, to designing and implementing customized SharePoint solutions, supporting user testing, and ensuring smooth handover to business teams. Youll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to enhance collaboration and information management practices. RESPONSIBILITIESLead or support the migration of structured and unstructured information from network/shared drives to SharePoint Online (SPO)Gather and document business requirements, workflows, metadata needs related to information management and SharePoint solutionsCollaborate with business stakeholders to design intuitive and sustainable SharePoint site structures, document libraries, content types, metadata schemas, views, and permissionsManage and administer SharePoint sites, including site setup, governance, permissions, and lifecycle managementAssist with the implementation of the Records Retention Schedule (RRS) to digital content, working closely with stakeholders to align SharePoint solutions with compliance requirementsSupport the development and maintenance of Power Automate flows to streamline business processesSupport change management efforts by preparing communications, training materials, and other documents to facilitate user adoptionMaintain strong organization and time management across multiple ongoing tasks and projectsContribute to the continuous improvement of IM processes, including gap analysis, best practice integration, and creation of operational process documents QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Library/Information Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, an alternative related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.35 years of hands-on experience in Information Management, SharePoint Online, or a related domain.Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements; experience creating process flows, user stories, and test plans.SharePoint skills, including experience configuring libraries, content types, document sets, views, permissions, and managed metadata would be highly beneficial.Experience supporting user adoption and training and working directly with end-users and business groups.Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results independently.Comfortable working on varying project sizes with minimal supervision.Strong writing, problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills.Customer-focused mindset and a collaborative working style.These additional skills would be considered an asset:Systems analyst exposure, translates business needs into technical solutions.Familiarity with Power Automate (Flows) and workflow design.Understanding of IM legislation, policies, and governanceKnowledge of the Midstream or Energy industry
