Systems Mechanic Aerospace Manufacturing | Mississauga, ON (FULL TIME/PERMANENT)Our client aerospace manufacturer located in Mississauga, Ontario, is looking for a Systems Mechanic to join its dynamic production team.Position OverviewReporting to the Production Supervisor, the Systems Mechanic is responsible for the installation, testing and inspection of aircraft systems such as fuel, hydraulics, oxygen, waste, anti-ice and flight controls. This includes the assembly of related components, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work is performed according to technical documentation and industry regulations.Main ResponsibilitiesInstall components and systems for fuel, hydraulic, oxygen, waste, anti-ice and flight controls (including rigging of flaps, ailerons, and spoilers).Conduct pressure and obstruction tests on installed systems.Install CTR fuselage components, including wire harnesses and windows.Perform pressure testing, cleaning, inspection and final close-out of wing box and central tank assemblies.Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, standards and technical instructions.Ensure work accuracy, safety, and compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards.Skills & QualificationsStrong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Hands-on experience with test equipment such as hydraulic rigs and pressure testers.Knowledge and practical experience in hydraulic and fuel pipe swaging.Experience in wire harness installation is not required (performed by Avionics team).Experience & EducationMinimum 2 years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or similar role in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance.Completion of a Systems Maintenance or Aircraft Maintenance program (or equivalent).Working ConditionsCandidates must be able to : Work in restricted spaces (tanks) and at heights above 3 meters.Work rotating shifts as required.Stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).Why Join This TeamWork for a leading Tier 1 aerospace manufacturer.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Extensive training programs and career growth opportunities.A collaborative, safety-driven, and inclusive work environment.
