Overview: **Fountain Tire Edson,** an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a **Tire Technician!** **What do we offer?** - **Competitive wages starting at $20 per hour (higher wages negotiable based on previous experience)** - **Health, dental, and vision benefit programs for you and your family, including a RRSP program with company matching!** - We will develop your skills and certifications with our excellent training & opportunities for advancement - The opportunity to work with an excellent team and great customers in a clean, safe, and respectful environment - Regular full time day shifts, with opportunities for overtime during our busy seasons (spring and fall) - Discounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and services at all Fountain Tire locations - The opportunity for growth into apprenticeships and leadership positions - own your own Fountain Tire store! **You will be responsible for:** - Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels - Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) - Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis - Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc. - Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts - The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe **What does it take to get on track?** - **Previous tire/automotive experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude** - A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset - A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers - A keen attention to detail - Ability to maintain a valid drivers license and provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract - Basic computer skills - Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms **At Fountain Tire, youd have a great place to work!
