Base pay range CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$90,000.00/yr Job Title: Production Supervisor Manufacturing Location: Edmonton Employment Type: Full-time Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing with a passion for driving performance, maintaining safety, and delivering quality results? Were currently partnering with a well-established Canadian manufacturing company seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the shop floor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What Youll Do Lead and supervise daily production activities to meet operational goals in safety, quality, and output Manage a team of production workers, providing direction, coaching, and support Assign tasks, set priorities, and schedule shifts to ensure efficient workflow Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and resolve issues quickly Maintain accurate records of production output, staff performance, and any incidents Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste Support material usage tracking and assist with inventory control Communicate regularly with management and other departments on progress, challenges, and successes What Were Looking For 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop team members Solid understanding of production processes, machinery, and safety protocols Proven ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, and optimize workflow Comfortable using production tracking software and basic computer applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelors degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity with quality control systems and occupational health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA/WSIB) Why This Role?
