Role Overview As the Information Security Analyst, reporting to the Manager, IT Cyber and Information Security, you will foster strong relationships with business partners, including IT, internal audit, SOC vendors, and other compliance and risk stakeholders within Just Energy. You will help articulate and influence the IT Risk and Compliance (ITRC) strategy, plans, and outcomes. You will lead efforts to govern, communicate, and educate staff on risk and compliance policies, standards, processes, and procedures. This role requires working in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating independence, initiative, and a strong understanding of risk management, technology, and security principles. Key Responsibilities Identify Information Security issues. Participate in developing security architecture solutions. Monitor emerging security threats and recommend mitigation strategies. Document security strategies, incidents, vulnerabilities, and system status. Facilitate security risk management activities and advise on threats and vulnerabilities. Implement and maintain security tools and documentation. Support internal teams with security concerns and incident response. Manage spam prevention, vulnerability scanning, and blacklistings. Support external audits and maintain security lists and policies. Ensure compliance with security requirements and policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years in Information Security, Cybersecurity, and threat protection. Experience with Data Discovery and Data Classification strategies. BA or BS in CS, IT, or related field preferred. Experience across infrastructure, web applications, cloud, and networks. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and OS (Windows/Linux). Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability mitigation. Understanding of patch management and security frameworks (NIST, PCI-DSS, OWASP, COBIT).
