Overview The Georgian Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (GNPLC) is a multi-site primary care clinic in Barrie and Innisfil. Our team is comprised of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dietitians, social workers and physiotherapists and supported by an administrative team. Together we provide access to team based primary care to over 6000 residents in our communities. Come join us in this new opportunity. Nurse Practitioner (RN-EC) contract to February 2027. In this role you will cover an existing NP practice of 500-800 patients during an extended leave. Both full-time and part-time hours will be considered. Responsibilities NPs function as the Most-Responsible Provider (MRP) for a defined roster of patients. The NP will collaborate internally with clinical colleagues, and externally with specialist physicians and community services and agencies in the provision of primary health care for their patients. You will practice autonomously, providing periodic health examinations, pharmacological and counseling interventions, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
